Out of the Blue

Today is my fifth anniversary as a low-ping bastard, as it was today in 1997 that I got my first ISDN line installed. I put some candles on my DSL router to celebrate, but I'm sort of afraid to light them, so I'll probably just have to commemorate the occasion by finding some modem users playing some online games and try to take advantage of them (not that this can't backfire--it's not like I'm Thresh or anything).

Calling them Gaffe's seems, to me, to suggest that he didn't mean to say exactly what came out of his mouth. I get the impression that Prince Philip doesn't really like people all that much, and doesn't feel the need to suffer fools gladly.

It IS good to have at least one person in a position of power who doesn't feel the need to be politically correct, and isn't afraid to speak his mind. I'm not sure that makes him a good diplomat, though.
