Recently, for whatever reason, the historical drama Cromwell
playing fairly frequently among the 6000 channels available on the satellite. In
seeing this for the first time since my bygone youth, I can't help but be
struck by the separated-at-birth that it offers. The best I can conjure up for one
of the photos is here
which shows the late Sir Alec Guiness (also seen on
the VHS cover
) who plays the antagonist King Charles I. Anyone who looks at
those pictures who is familiar with the
(warning: site contains mature and immature themes) knows who is
the other half of this equation. The king is dead! God save the Levelord?
