Mimesis Online Released

Although not yet noted on the official site, there is now a version 1.0 client for Mimesis Online available for download from FilePlanet (registration required), weighing in at a whopping 475 MB. The client is a free download but you'll need to pay for an account at the official site to play this science fiction massively multiplayer online role-playing game by Tannhauser Gate. Update: The official site has now been relaunched with a new look and up-to-date information on setting up an account, as well as more download mirrors.

No offence, but I'm curious, did you stick around long enough to see if they fixed the problems or was your beta testing with the game "hit and run"? A beta is supposed to find problems and fix them... I've seen games run like cr*p in beta, especially early on, and eventually come out of the shoot doing pretty well on public release. At least they are not charging for the client AND charging a monthly fee (I've always thought that takes big brass ones).

I beta tested this game and the networking is less than 1% done. Has promise.
