Speedball Arena Q&A

There's a Speedball Arena Q&A on Computer and Video Games talking with Ed Bartlett, designer on the Bitmap Brothers' Speedball Arena, their upcoming follow-up to Speedball 2, their classic 16-bit game featuring a violent futuristic sport. They discuss his feelings about being involved in this project, the platforms they are focusing on, thoughts on console systems, team features, solo play, what sort of brutal moves will be available, classes, training, modifications, plans for other ports or updates, their scheduled release date, the search for a publisher, and more.

Can't forget The Chaos Engine... Man this game was awesome. I remember playing it coop with a friend on my old 486 for whole nights. We didn't get tired of it. It had so many secrets and different routes you could take... Man this game was awesome.

Gah...I never got on with Shadow of the Beast - waaay too hard. Now Supercars, on the other hand...I loved that game.
What else? Turrican2! I've completed that a silly amount of times - I loved the creepy BGM on the last level. Heartbeats freak me out

hmmmm....Rainbow Islands. Lemmings! Another World!! Frontier:Elite2!!!

Now if only I had enough time to go find an Amiga emulator. I guess I really ought to get some work done....

[EDIT: Stunt Car Racer!!! Pinball Fantasies!!! Monkey Islands 2!!!!! Sensible Soccer! Alien Breed!! Populous 2!!
Aaaaaaaaargh....must...resist...]

Screw Speedball 2, I still have the original Speedball 1 for the Amiga. I can't believe it still works now that I think of it...

Sure, I will never forget Speedball 2. Along with games like Shadow of The Beast 1-3 and Supercars 1-2, it will remain fondly remembered in my memory forever!
