"You are def not a gamer (refer to comment #79) no gamer would post shite like that."
Actually, I'd like to think I'm a gamer that understands both sides of the industry, the press and the biz.
"As a gamer I am sick of game mags biased reviews,"
Okay, fine. So stealing is the way to send this message? If I find you a bad person, does that suddenly give me the right to steal your lunch money?
If you don't like game magazines, don't buy them. It's pretty easy not to buy something.
"And worst of all, the biggest gripe in the world is with game producers who release unfinished piles of steaming shite at the full price and then have to release 10+ patches just to bring the game upto a resonable standard, thats stealing, not this."
Okay, no arguments there, but you can stop that practice by not buying the games. Warezing them doesn't "stick it to them" any more than not buying it does. And when you warez, you give up your right to have a legitimate beef about the practice.
"So bear in mind whoever you are.....Bluesnews has been around for years offering excellent service to gamers.....and it's free!"
Yes, Blue's offers an excellent service, which is why it's disappointing to see them go down a shaky ethical path. VE, sure. Evil Avatar, sure. VE, red edition (also known as GamingGroovy, or whatever the hell it is), definitely. But this site has always been the most "adult" and reasonable portal site.
And as for it being free, you realize that all of this "free" information is disappearing, right? That you can't give away "free" stuff? Pretty soon, there will be no more "free" download sites; there are already very few left. You can't sell enough ads to pay for the bandwidth costs. The companies are being cheap by not hosting it themselves (it's really just marketing), and if it comes to that, I'd bank on them dumping demos altogether.
