Is this game playing as-advertised yet?

Unfortunately, I must say that this game now is a DAMN FINE game.

Not 100% perfect, but entertaining enough that I can have loads of fun playing.

I don't care if the game now allows me to shoot real-life Nazis from my back porch...I refuse to support a game that was released in the state this one was.

I agree with you below. One of the worst games ever bought and played. Nice huge world war with less then 400 people durning primetime.

#6,

If the player numbers were holding you back before, it averages around 1200-1500 players during EST primetime.

Also, with the supply system working, there is an actual front line now which funnels players to the same fights.

1.5 has truely changed the dynamics of how to play the game.

It's a vast improvement from before, and hell, the developer will always be working to make it a better game.

I played this game quite a bit the first 2 months it came out. And as alot of you know it wasnt in too good'a shape back then. But you know what it was still Hella fun somtimes. And if they've been improving the game for the YEAR I havent played it I bet its pretty good now. I'm STRONLY thinking about buying it again.

I bought this game as soon as it hit the shelves...it was MAJOR crap and didnt even come close to what was advertised on the box.

Can someone here explain to me how 56k is a valid system spec for this game, yet there are about 100 Megs of patches that I am supposed to suck through that tiny pipe just to play?

I too will not support this game or any game they ever put out again (CRS/PlayNet) simply due to the fact that it was such a crappy release....perpetuating the "push it out now, patch it later" philosohpy which I DESPISE.

I agree with #'s 3, 4, 8.

Feels like a different game now. No more cheap graphics and stable now.

If your against push it out and patch it later then you might be missing out on some fun games... I would just wait untill it was patched to all hell. now you pay next to nothing for it and its patched up to be a good game!

#8 Your player numbers are bogus and everytime a patch comes out it is said to have changed the gameplay and now it is just great, BS. And #11 what did they put in a whole new engine? I doubt that also the graphics were good when I had a 486 not now. This game is trash I would hope no one would waste their money like some of us have. And #10 I agree CRS could not make a game to save their ass and I bet they never show their faces at E3 again, I know if I released this piece I would go into hiding. But for anyone in doubt and still thinking about buying this ask the person who works at your Local game store he will tell you the same thing dont waste your money.

#13 totally agree

Don't believe the hype, every patch got the same "its the greatest game in the world really, its not the same crap it was"

The PR machine these rat guys have is really good to release this level of shitty game and then keep getting news about it (other than that it sucks).

Maybe by patch 3.51 all 400 active players can get a good game. I'm guessing only 400 since they won't tell us how many. If they aren't telling us that means nobody is playing it. Hell they brag about minor patches and they won't brag about the number of players?

Well now that no link no cap is in and lots of other building remakes it makes for a pretty damn fun game. LOL Ask the guy at the store. hahahaha A pimply faced 15 year old who only plays console games figures that is who you would rely on for your info. Only thing that matters is that I'm having fun

For anyone who wants to know the state of the game, go read the official game forums. That will give you a better idea of where the game stands than your local shopkeeper.

Hey, this game isn't for everyone. If your looking for a game with only twitch and no wit, go get something else. But if you want to 'roleplay' a soldiers life but don't like real bullets coming at you, WWIIOL may be your cup of tea. NO game has ever made me feel like I'm in a life or death situation like this.

If you deside to purchase it, make sure you join an existing outfit after a week or so because 'Fight Alone, Die Alone' is the way it is.

1.5 Makes a great game better.

There will be out a trial version soon, so YOU can try it without listening to the 15 year old Trolls who don't play this game anymore because MOMMIE won't pay $10 a month.

This Game is for grownups, played by MOSTLY mature Non-aim-bot, must have ROCKET LAUNCHER Quakers.

Visit MY Sqaud's Web page at WWW.SGHQ.COM and see some IN GAME videos and see what YOU THINK.
