Okay, for all you quakers out there that love DM but hate the confines of this map, f u c k off and go back to playing your poop rtcw.
Here is the ideal way to play this map which is fun with the verticalness to it.
use the command line that Alliedassault.net first posted:
+set developer "1" +set ui_console 1 +set g_gametype 2 +sv_maxclients 16 +map dm/mohdm6
either add this to the end of your shortcut for allied assault on your desktop icon(in the properties) after the parantheses, but first make a few changes.
What this initially does is allows you to use the console, set the max players for server, and change the game mode.
This map is not good with 32 players nor 16... or even 10...the ideal setting for this map is at the most 8.
Also I'm into CS and DoD so the whole DM thing is boring and ghey and gets tiring real fast. Alot of other ppl feel this way too. So in order to get the same style out of CS, kill the other team and you win you wanna set the gameplay to the 3rd mode which 2015 calls round based. So ideally this is what you want your command line to look like when you are all done:
"C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\MOHAANetDemo\MOHAANetDemo.exe" +set developer "1" +set ui_console 1 +set g_gametype 3 +sv_maxclients 8 +map dm/mohdm6
So there that should be a lot more fun than DM and regular team DM. If anyone knows of a site that has compiled a list of all the known console commands that'd be nice to see cuz i think there is actually some other maps in the pak files, so soo someone told me...
As to address the rocket lamers and the so called fecal material location of the machine gun nest. At least one person should have a bazooka on your team, else things can take forever sometimes hunting down that one last ass that just doesn't want to die. Remember you can drop your weapon and pick up another. As for the nest. That's a great weapon for finishing off someone either climbin up the ladder or that's almost dead camping in the bombed building.
Of course there's some additional things that need just a little tweakin... though those have pretty much been pointed out and no need for me to re iterate, though the speed and jump is fine and shouldn't be touched... changes the pace of the game. I and 20 buds in my dorm have no complaints on it...
