Empire Earth Demo

More demo news, as the promised Empire Earth demo has now been released as well, and it's available from Gigex for a hefty 93.2 MB. The demo includes "includes four of Empire Earth's Training Scenarios, which introduce a few of the many special features available in the full game. Also included are two exciting scenarios from Empire Earth's four epic Campaigns. In one scenario, you command British troops during the Napoleonic Wars. In the other, you guide Manfred von Richthofen, the famous "Red Baron," at the start of World War I." And in related news, a post called Beta AND Demo! on EE Gamer (thanks GameSpyDaily) offers a way to keep both the beta and the demo installed, contrary to earlier reports (story). Update: Mirror are online at FilePlanet (registration required), BonusWeb, AVault and 3D Gamers.

I was just about to look for reviews of Stronghold to see if it's worth getting so soon to EE's release

I'm not really an RTS fan - the only military based RTSs I've liked are AOE1 (AOK was not A-OK ) and Imperium Galactica 2. Still, I had my eye on these babies as they both look promising. I'll have to see.

Cheers,
