World War II Online Patch

Cornered Rat Software has released a new patch for World War II Online, updating their massively multiplayer war game to version 1.30. This release brings a large number of changes as listed in this post on the official forums, including two new aircraft, new scoring features, optimization and bug fixes, and it's available as a 12.8 MB upgrade from version 1.26 as well as via the auto-updater. Thanks Sniper342 for the tip.

If all you guys played version 1.58 you would know the game is great! It rocks! Just buy the original buggy piece of garbage and wait 2.6 years for version 1.58!

As much as some of you would like to believe otherwise this game is -- crap --

Anyone who didn't get it from behind already, don't buy this game!

blah blah blah crs this, crs that

half the negative posts on here are about the mistakes of crs, and almost the rest of the negatives seem like they're evaluations based on older versions than 1.30

Hey Headless, I'm sure the game requires a sizeable amount of teamwork meachanics. I was refering to how well he amounts to a mass amount of teamwork.

Ya that's the spirit, get ANGRY! Those CRS bitches stole your lunch money!! Sure the server is a cluster, what server with over 64 clients connected isn't clustered? The fact is that WWIIOnline has the only server cluster that can hold that many clients without loading pauses or hard zone lines for the players. I believe it's one box per 1600 players.

And 33% full? When was the last time you played? The server was at 46% last night at 9:00PST.

All the games you mention 10,000+ players on at any given time is nothing...only 32 maximum per server, and most servers are set to 20 or less. EQ is a great game...i don't play it personally but it's a great concept and has obviously been very successful, but it can't be compared to WW2OL...different scope.

who gives a crap how the servers are running? cluster? not? so what? The servers are seamlessly integrated and you can walk from one end of the world to the other without a load wait time or reconnect. The fellow who mentions that all ww2OL does is crash has most likely not been playing the game lately as i have seen only 1 crash in the past 3 weeks of constant play.

Mane man:
"(and I'm sure your imagination stops at the 'hey lets go this way and find some guys'),"

ww2online presents a monstrous world in which you have the freedom to explore any tactical possibility you would have in a normal world. With the mission based structure of the game, you see specific missions based to defend and attack towns, orchestrating specific battle sites. If you are smart and study the map, know the objective, you apply any real world approach you normally would to attack the situation tactically. Most missions have commanders with plans laid out already in game for briefing en route to mission, allowing planned fades, flanks and pincers to be carried out.
The game is strategic in a very effective way.

ww2onlines server is a fing cluster buttmunches....

One day you blinded fanboys will wake up and live a real life!
No you cant compare them...Only you are looking like the moron for even trying to compare them...But teh facts are still teh same 10,000+ cs,tfc, dod,fa,gw,FLF,ahl, etc at any given time.
Well holy shit EQ has 30,000 players logged in at peak times everyday even on sundays....And omg its more then one server...somebody get a gun and put me out my misery...Did you ever care to think about how old EQ is? Did you ever care to think about EQ wasnt designed to hold more then 200 players per zone!

Guess what i dont fing play eq but you can knock it all you want its still the most popular mmog out to date!

But your teh only MORON here if you think WW2onlines 33% capacity [ive never seen it change from that percentage in 2 weekss contained on one server....YES SIR you are the MORON maybe you should dig up some board post on ww2onoline explaining how many comps are actually running in their clusters...OH wait a min...their dumbass webmasters cant even code a simple search feature in their forum!

Have a nice day

Not only does OP Flashpoint require more teamwork mechanics than you could ever imagine (and I'm sure your imagination stops at the 'hey lets go this way and find some guys'), it requires more skill in the manipulation of the vehicles presented.

Congratulations, you have made yourself look like a complete idiot (it doesn't matter anyways, the kid didn't have the brass to post with a real name).

Well congradulations. I'm sure CS/Q3/OpFlash/etc take fine motor skills to master. And you're right no teamwork is required.

No, I don't like WWII Online. Does that mean I play EQ? You silly boy, you. I don't even touch EQ.

I play games that require more skills than typing messages to your team.

Haha I'm so ashamed of liking this game! You guys are really hurting my feelings with your ignorant commentary, please stop!

Show me ANY game that can fit 3500 players onto a single zoneless server. There are none. I have a feeling the people who think WWIIOnline's gameplay is "boring" are the same ones standing around for 5 hours camping spawns in EQ or DAoC for their phat bling bling. PRESS ATTACK BUTTON-- PRESS MAGIC BUTTON 1-- PRESS MAGIC BUTTON 2-- THIS IS A GAME? It's a pay-for-play graphical chatroom you suckers!

If you don't have the metal capacity to play WWIIOnline please, don't get angry at the game because you suck, play EQ, this game will survive and prosper either way.

I love you, you make it so easy...
No game has 10K+ per server. None. EQ has 3K per server, AC about 2K, CS (which is just a shitty Rogue Spear) has a max of 32 (more if you like standing around cursing lag). Diablo II has more players than all those put together during it's peak times, but they split between servers as well.

BTW, saying "i could care less" indicates that you DO care, you closet WW2 fanboy.

and it's "y'all" dipshit.

"Those who have attacked the attitudes of those they may have seen on the CRS/Playnet forums are mass generalizing in a very destructive fashion. Most of the players in WW2OL are 3 times as intelligent and friendly as any players i find in CS and TFC every day. NOT TO MENTION THE COMPLETE lack of cheating in this game. This game REQUIRES team work..."

AHAHAHAHHAHA you are such a nob...I love how you base the internet gamer off the mosdt popular game out.Complete lack of cheating...ahahahahahahha...And TEAMWORK? coulda fooled me.

"The game is EPIC in it's scope...it's a MONSTROUS world with huge amounts of players on it at all times..."

Huge amounts are 2500? i would consider huge amounts to be in the 10,000+ range.Once again your comparing apples and oranges moron fanboy thats trying to come off like an outsider...w3hahahahha

In 3 months ya'll come back and lets have the filing banruptcy argument! I could care less if they offered another free game upon sign-up...The lack of Production,Information, updates, timeline, policing of the Board, over 3 months was enough to do it in for at least 20,000+ buyers that either returned or sold there game or honestly uninstalled it and wrote it off as another rookie mistake!

Have fun playing with all those 2400 ppl...hell CS has 10,000 servers running at any givin time let alone the numerous players , Eq anyone wanna mention that, huh? average amount of players logged into eq is over 30,000 at peak times!

have a nice day

The games fails to recognize true authenticity and detail where seen fit. Instead, it is a game that not only crashes, but crashes with a vengence. It sucks your money like a dime-whore, and it doesn't spit.

You think that instead of using 'infallible' in the context which he had presented, he would use it in a more sensible fashion (e.g., "An official, infallible post..." or "An infallible post").
