GodGames sends
a
press release with word of the release of a playable demo for
FireFly's Stronghold:
"A blend of simulation and real-time strategy set in medieval Europe,"
available
as a Gigex download. The game is described like this: "In a divided
European countryside, the kingdom is torn apart by four power hungry and warring
lords. By skillfully managing resources, boosting peasant morale, and
constructing complex castle architecture, players will ultimately establish
settlements, build and manage castles and engage in siege warfare as they strive
to reunite their king and country. "FireFly Studios' Stronghold", a
unique castle simulation title, immerses the gamer in a teeming medieval
settlement to create a vibrant castle community." The demo itself is a 58
MB download that features two full missions, four difficulty levels and over 20
buildings (
"So long boys! Have fun stormin' the castle!").
Also, those willing to provide their email address upon download will be "automatically
entered into the Dream Machine for the Dream Castle Giveaway. One lucky winner
will win a top-of-the-line computer system from Alienware."
