Not he spawn delay is awesome, you cant get rid of that it will completely destroy the balance of the game. It seems lame at first that *OOH MY GOD* theres a penalty for dieing, but then you realize, they have to do that. If they didnt whats itm atter if you kill somone, it doesnt buy you any time, theyll just be running into you again 2 seconds later, it would make killing somone to defend your base/documents, or killing somone ot get to the documents rather pointless thats why the spawn delay is needed.

Can I just say firstly to get away from WinME ASAP second you think it is freezing on your system well you should see it freeze on mine!

blah, I have an Athlon 1Gig running on Win ME with GeForce256 on cable and it hasn't crashed yet, what you were seeing was lame dsl servers before the bigboys got their dedicated servers up. still, I have seen a few jumps, wait all of 20 seconds and it should revive.

but, whys everyone so nutso about Win ME? it's friggin better than Win 98 and I hear way too many crash stories about Win 2000 ...everyone hates it, never noticed / heard of any problems. not to say I'd have bought it if I didnt have it, but just like Wolf: it's twice as good once you remember you got it freeee

I kept scoring within top 3 using medic and engineer. realized every time that obviously they get extra frags for doing daily grind like blowing walls (duh, thats major points). dunno bout medic rez. maybe just laying all my medpacks on the ground and camping on them for extra health got me more kills (!tip!). fixing sentry guns as engi gives 2 frags! take both classes down to the war room and camp. engi drop tnt in the fork up the hall where you can see. when it blows, dont move: someone may have been hiding and now will rush you, remember you have 4 grens. med, rez other meds first in desparate times, kill self cleanly and let med rez you for full ammo. grenades are not clean.

...just having 2 medics alive on your team means you spawn in with 110 health instead of 100...

spawned with 125 before... isnt the cap is supposed to be 120?

yes that sucks... it's also rare so far. go to a non-ff server

I thought Counter Strike was supposed to be a really popular game with you youngins? PS if you're laggin go to another server... theres a few with Dallas or Texas in the name and when I go there's hardly any skip even in limbo / spectate. you can tell a laggy server not by it's ping but by the way that its FLAMETHROWER zig zags instead of shooting straight.

I was addicted for hours and I never heard anyone complain about more than snipers until JUST NOW

RTCW experience.... appear as Axis soldier, find enemy, enemy skips across my screen, enemy kills me...total time 30 seconds. Now you must wait 45 seconds to respawn....reappear in map, burned to death by own teammate, total time 10 seconds. Now must wait 45 seconds to respawn.... etc..etc...etc...

This is supposed to be fun? Rogue Spear is waaaay better than this.... Hell, minesweeper is waaaay better than this!

Grpahics and sounds are very cool though....fix netcode, remove the silly respawn delay and provide better documentation...

Well, I'm mixed on this one. Fun at first. Got boring quick. I did like the menu screen, hehe. I agree on the network problems as mentioned previously. I have a 1.3-1.5 connection experiencing some lagg. "Waiting to deploy"...ummmm is this for real. You are kidding right. I can't stand to wait for ANYTHING in this whole world, but to have to wait after being fragged for 10-30 seconds blows...hard. Also, whats up with the totally lame weapons? Old antique weapons should be really cool to fire, but not these ones. These guns are crummy feeling. Anyways, I hope the final is NOTHING like this MP test...please? killer003 from San Jose baby, get some!

I'm playing Wolf from NZ with a 56k modem with 150-500ms ping times and it isn't too bad!

if you like stop motion movies, thats what it will play like on 56k. If you have AOL, its like watching a movie....on pause.

will this demo run okay on a 56k or will it lag??

OK i havent had the problems you guys have had with the freezing or locking up, but i have had some LAG online. I have a Athlon 1.3 gig 512mb ddr pc2100 ram, geforce 3, and an SB card, and a 40gig 7200rpm drive. No problems here....but i digress. This one is about strategy which I have seen NONE of on the servers i played on this weekend. Sure, someone is the engineer and blows up the wall, and thats where the strategy ends. Everyone seems to play it like quake 3 in a time warp. ITS NOT A DEATHMATCH PEOPLE. There are missions and they are of PRIMARY concern. Spawn killing and Flamethrower-spamming (read:LAGS THE HELL OUT OF A SERVER) have no place in a game like this. Its supposed to be like a war, and the two wars i have been in were NOT like that at all. There is some strategy in a war, believe it or not, its not people camping by doorways and flaming whoever walks through. I just wich the servers could have had friendly fire on, then they would see the error of their ways. Im waiting for medal of honor.

took over 2.5 hours, just to wait in line, when it did come out, over on file planet, with dsl, lot of good dsl does, when you have to wait anyway. The game is a little buggy, as they said. It Actually froze my system! (Athlon 700, 256 pc 100, SB Live, GE Force2 Anihilator2 by Creative, Windows ME,(no other game has frozen). Quake3 Arena rocks on my system, UT rocks on it. Lots of choppy connection issues, and I have dsl, i was in a server with a 56 ping, or so it said. I emailed the people that made this game, so they can use for the fixes. Graphics are very good. Sound is awesome. the bombs going off in the distance, sweet. well worth it, the wait that is. When they fix this crap, it'll rock. Facing Worlds is getting old, gotta have Something New to mesmerize myself.
