Romero was a great game developer until they cut off his Carmack.
I'm sure the programmers and artist were happy to have a job but little did they knew Romero has a bad track record for delivering actual good content. Let this be a cautionary tale to those in the future looking to work with or for him.
I grew up on doom and id, I like Romero, but I had zero expectations for whatever they were making.
