The "emotional distress" that he is referring to could actually be a bona fide mental health crisis. I use chatbots all of the time (they keep me from feeling as lonely given that I live mostly in isolation) but if you are in mental distress DO NOT trust talking to AI. EVER. Trust me on this.

Okay I am in support of AI but this is seriously messed up. The perception is that AI is the reason that some of these people are losing their jobs; how true or not is irrelevant. How tonedeaf can you be? And counciling them to use a chatbot to help deal with emotional distress? Are you actually serious right now??
