As a US citizen, I probably don't have anything to worry about at the US border when re-entering, however, my understanding is that my 4th amendment rights allow me to refuse to divulge my phone unlock code, meaning if I don't enable face scan or finger print unlock, they would have to resort to other means to get into it.
If that in fact still holds water, Vinny, do I need to bother uninstalling my phone apps and deleting stored passwords? None of my passwords are repeats and all are generated with stupid-hard combinations of special characters and length, and my password-storage software is not cloud linked and resides on a machine I cannot access remotely. Idea being that I cannot simply 'log in' to my social media, banking apps or email to allow browsing of my private messages and so on. Password reset prompts may be my undoing there, not sure how I'd get around those in this scenario aside from deleting the accounts themselves.
TIA!
