The Expanse: Osiris Reborn Announced [Jun 08, 2025, 5:43 pm ET] – Share – Viewing Comments
Owlcat Games and Alcon Interactive announce The Expanse: Osiris Reborn, a third-person action/RPG in the setting of The Expanse, the science fiction television series. This is "coming soon" to PC and consoles, and there are listings for the Windows edition on the Epic Games Store, GOG.com, and Steam. The developer and talks of the inspiration it's drawing from the Mass Effect series, calling this its "flagship project" (hopefully not in the Hellgate: London sense), offering founders packs and a pricy Collector's Edition. The Announcement Trailer provides a first cinematic look, and the description has more:
The Expanse: Osiris Reborn is a story-driven sci-fi Action RPG. You play as a Pinkwater Security mercenary whose brief shore leave on the asteroid Eros spirals out of control. Trapped in a deadly lockdown and drawn into a solar system-wide conspiracy far beyond your control, you’ll have to adapt, survive, taking command of the most advanced ship in the whole of the solar system. Gather a crew and find your own path through the web of lies to leave your mark on the solar system.

Love The Expanse. Probably one of the top 3 sci-fi series of all time. Hopefully this turns out to be decent.
Do you have a single fact to back that up?
They said that the player doesn't do any ship combat, and that this is all FPS.
If people want expanse style ship combat, maybe try Nebulous: Fleet Command.

I like the series but the trailer looks quite generic without any character. Does seem to have some of the hard science elements down but looks generic action otherwise. That cover art gives off generic mobile game square jaw dude / horse face woman vives, while the series was anything but generic when it came to it's characters.
Sadly it is now fed and has an actual reason to get up in the morning. If we stop feeding it perhaps it will just die.

I've only watched the first 1.5 series of the programme (I don't really do TV) but love the books. Leviathan Falls is the only book I've ever preordered.
I'm also just started chapter 2 of Rogue Trader and vastly prefer it to BG3 so I'll be following this one closely!

Not from netflix
It was on ShitfliX here in EU. Seasons 1 and 2 premiered on Shitflix in most major territories outside of the US (where it premiered on Amazon Crime). After season 2, Crime took over here in EU as well apparently.
