The current reviews are for their updated TOS on all of their games, which is, to be clear, INCREDIBLY gross but the game itself is brilliant.

My feeling is that Randy is extremely socially awkward and is really trying to be friendly and likeable when he says and does the stupid shit that he does. Then he digs himself a deeper hole trying to fix it, never realizing that continuing to speak only makes him seem like more of a joke. I just get that feeling...

Yeah the VR version is really good. The pin sharp art style looks great and the scale of things that are supposed look big, really do in a VR environment. So much fun as my first taste of the series, through over half the game before the obsession ended.
The lack of co-op had it's detractors, the age old it ain't 2 handed weapon control from the purists aided the pile on that never gave it a chance. If the co-op would have been implemented it probably would have got more traction.

BL2 still randomly crashes when I played it a couple of years ago or tried too anyway. Yeah the Take Two's TOS is pretty scary and dystopian. Par for the course. GTA 6 will be a nightmare. Get banned because you want to skip the rockstar logo with a mod or want to add in more cars or guns. "Power corrupts; absolute power corrupts absolutely" as the quote goes.

The best glorious action gaming experience of my life, bar none (with M&K using x360ce.exe free gamepad emulator).
Exhilarating wild all out hours long VR sessions, no hand holding, sprinting and jumping madly, no timid teleporting or slow turning bull.

I said this on the other snag thread, they also got Borderlands 3 for 3 bucks.

Hm. Actually, there seems to be a review bombing campaign that has the recent reviews at Overwhelmingly Negative.
The user agreement/TOS got changed, presumably to match the newest. It mentions intensive datamining of the user's account, that mods are a bannable offense, and other assorted things.
However, some people are saying that the game hasn't been updated, so it's a terms change rather than a game change, and that people should just play it offline if they're worried.
I don't know what the real situation is, or if this really changes much.

Yeah, PS Plus and Steam have both given it away before. Steam about a year ago. I am sure it will happen again.
