This is the most sensible post I've seen for a long time. Too many idiots are too quick to point a finger and yell for nukes. These people are the same as the people celebrating in the streets of the middle east, except they have different influences upon them.
Of course there will be retaliation - if nothing else to show others considering similar action what happens to them. But I think, and I belive the US government thinks (if not the occasional citizen), it should be careful, measured and correct. Bombing rogue countries is unconsidered, reactionary stupidity - proof that you should not make decisions while upset.
I don't blame people for being upset. I personally don't know any victims of the WTC disaster, but I felt sick to my stomach as I watched the events unfolding - to be a US Citizen must be many times worse and to have a close friend of relative lost in the blast uncomprehensible. But the suggestions and attitudes on this board are ridiculous and, at times, racist.
