Wolfenstein multiplayer test this Friday
on GameSpot (thanks To The Game) has
word from id Software and Activision announcing that a multiplayer test version
of Return to Castle Wolfenstein, the upcoming World War II FPS "in joint
development at Gray Matter, Nerve, and id Software," is to be released this
Friday. Word is to expect the test release, which will include a single
multiplayer level, on GameSpot and the Return
to Castle Wolfenstein Website, and according to the report, the full game "scheduled for release in November."

I can't wait to check this game out. Good to know that it's going to have a polished multiplayer component on release (hopefully--never know). Although I think I'd better grab a download manager before Friday so it can fight its way into the servers instead of me continually clicking. =)
Use flashget from www.flashget.com with the fileplanet mirror list and you can usually get the file downloaded quickly.
If not it's better to wait for other mirrors elsewhere cause it's not even worth trying to download from there the old school way. (As we all know.)

Max Payne, RtCW, AvP2...This year is panning out quite nicely. 
i hope it is'nt released through planetmas******rs, crap servers but hey we got nice quick ones if you have your flexible friend, how kind of them 
well not b4 the full version is released, *if* there is one, it will prob be *after* the full version is released.

Er...not that I am aware of. It's had a mid-November release date for some time now; it is currently scheduled for November 13th. There is even going to be a "Limited Edition Collector's Tin" similar to what they did with Q3:A.
Judging from what the online retailers have to show, it looks like this will actually cost a little bit more than your average game...

Those servers are going to see the mother of all hammerings on Friday. I feel certain they won't be able to handle it. We need mirrors all over the place right now.
The only thing bad about this is that, given the screenshots I've seen, it's really the single player game that I've been looking forward to. This test won't give us any idea about the monsters (how about that dominatrix type, heh heh, oh, er ...), etc., in the SP game. Not that I'm really complaining.
Oh my God, I didn't know this game was so close to being released. I thought this was supposed to come out for Christmas. Is this a joke?
