I admit to paying what was, for me, a lot, and playing for at least a year. Since then (and housing upheavals), I have neither paid anymore nor played very much.

That it is still in "alpha" after having a first "module" release in August of 2013 (TWELVE YEARS), targeted for a 2014 release. Now presumably delayed until 2027.
I had my fun, and while in some sense it might not be a "scam", it is definitely preying on folks with cultish behavior.

Never mind that the US government is being dismantled by another cult, and Medicaid has seen many cuts, and so my concerns about those things are of a much higher priority than a space game, or games in general, at this point.

Chris has no reason to stop the gravy train by actually releasing a game. He's already made more $$ than I'm sure even he dreamed of. It will be interesting to see who else can continue the sucker paradigm as a business strategy. We know there are millions of fools wanting to give away their money.

Anybody in this thread that paid him anything is just that, a fool. It's been more entertaining to me to watch this shitshow than to play some forgettable video game.

Dude, that well is quickly drying up. Most who invested, the whales have already bought what they want. Most other players are at the point of why? Why should I invest in a game that is seemingly going nowhere fast.

They are out of money according to the financials they posted. This game will be dead and gone if they don't change the in house philosophy or get a major investor. Roberts most likely wont because he's not going to want to lose control of his baby.
