What exactly is META a monopoly of? Selling shitty ads to people with nothing better to do? No different from Television, or Radio, and now apparently subscription-based Streaming. At least the Meta is still free .99 and you can 100% opt out of it.

I 100% believe in the enshittification of the interwebs, and think it is the obvious outcome of GaaS, SaaS, Virtual compute, the AI, Cloud, and all this shit. But, for fuck sake, how is Meta guilty? They have a first amendment right just like the cable company that was playing nonstop commercials and charging way too much. Nobody is going after Haynes because the ancles of their socks blow out upon the first wear. Nobody is going after Target because they charge $25 for the shitty chonies that take 20 minutes to get unlocked in order to drive the customer to order online. Nobody is bitching that Walmart Is testing out paid parking in order to drive online sales... . fuck META, but I don't need them, like I need socks and chonies.
