Nothing sells your product like threatening your existing customers. I hear that encourages loads of new customers to want to buy your product. /s
Unity's mentality of going after groups like this is akin to dropping a $20 bill to pick up a few dimes especially after the self created dumpster fire they created for themselves. They need to focus on goodwill in order to keep their head afloat and maybe some analysis before they attempt to go after companies. I for one wouldn't use their tools unless I was learning how to do something, but I sure as hell wouldn't publish any titles with that software when they pull these stunts.
Unity has really not been fairing well in comparison to unreal, on multiple fronts.
