Out of the Blue

The comments on the Big Bear Bald Eagle Live Nest Cam announce that fledge watch is underway for Sunny and Gizmo, the two surviving eaglets from the clutch of three eggs Jackie laid this year. This isn't surprising to any of us who've been checking in on them, as they've grown to nearly full size, and their episodes of flapping and hopping to get a taste of their future airborne lives have become quite frequent. Pretty exciting, at least in the context of bird watching.

Full-fledged Round-up
Thanks Ant, Neutronbeam, and Max.

I am not going to pretend like I am not going to watch both, but I am more optimistic about the Ironheart series than the Superman movie. Would not have called that in a billion years. I have already watched and read a few different versions of young, naive, borderline stupid Superman learns to navigate a world that both loves and hates him. Not that I was expecting anything different, that is who the character is as a young man. I just don't think another version of that story is going to "wow" me. Ironheart is a relatively new character that has a story and background I don't know anything about. A TV show can dive into subplots and support character depth in a way a movie won't. I have liked most of the episodes in Ms Marvel, Daredevil Reborn, She-Hulk, Falcon and Winter Soldier, Hawkeye, etc so I have high hopes for Ironheart. and who knows...maybe Superman will surprise me.
