I hope they do well. Media business is rough w/o support. People want independent media but independent media doesn't get the clicks like the ragebait headlines that media corpos push.

Give you a tip on why China just bent over. They're in deflation, their sweatshop factories are stalled, unemployment for 18-28 jumped 8% and the plebs are getting restless because some haven't been paid in 3 months.

Yeah, looking at rare earth deposits and production capacity is not happy reading for the US.
It does explain the huge interest for Greenland, even though nobody in the administration really admits to it.
It would make a lot more sense for the US to enter into a partnership with Brazil and India, with the added challenge that both are members of BRICS along with Russia and China.

Basically new owners wanting overly-strict guidelines on what they were allowed to say.
The staff of Giant Bomb said no, and basically walked out.
That would have been the end of Giant Bomb, but it looks like the new owners were willing to sell it to the staff instead of taking a total loss.

Scott Bessent did an embarrassing suckup to Trump boasting about how Trump is doing 4D chess. I think it's more along the lines of playing chess with a pigeon - The pigeon just knocks all the pieces over. Then poops all over the board. Then struts around like it won.
