Yeah, I stopped doing that a LONG time ago. Hell, I waited a year because I didn't want to buy Satisfactory on EGS. Finally gave in when their exclusive didn't end 1 year after release. It finally did end a couple of months later.

The review does not tell you how it will run on your machine. It also wouldn't be the first time that commercial reviews did a poor job reflecting a game's quality if that was the case here. I would recommend that you don't pre-order it - I had the exact same mindset when I pre-ordered 3 copies of Cyberpunk 2077 for me and my kids. That was the last time I pre-order anything ever again. I won't even buy anything day 1 usually - I try to wait at least a month most of the time (unless I am just a huge fan girl of a property). But that might be a bridge too far...

Ain't that the truth. If they can give free keys to smooth-brain YouTube streamers for making ludicrous facial expressions on the thumbnails and typing in ALL CAPS ON THEIR VIDEO TITLES, they can give a key to someone who has been running a website supporting it for decades...

Got my copy for free. My friend bought a 5080 and didnt want the game. so he gave me his cd key.

Blues if you do buy it , go to cdkeys.com you can get a copy for 58 dollar's there. Trustworthy site. I usually buy all my games from them way cheaper.

Just tell them your a streamer and you'll get a key for free, Blue. Sad but true.

If you're really a huge fan, buy it. The reviews are looking good and it seems to be a return to greatness after the IMO not so good Doom Eternal.
