I also don't have a problem with cosmetics, especially in Diablo IV, where it is mostly irrelevant what your character looks like. Even fully zoomed in, it is hard to make out much in the way of details. The only way you can see a character in their full glory is if you'd inspect them but you'd have to be bored out of your skull with the game to stand in a crowd and inspect players.

Besides, say about Diablo IV what you will but they have done a good job at making every character look kind of badass if you tweak your looks a little with the regular cosmetics that you can earn from gameplay.
There are no intentional major fuglifiers in the game that make your character look like ass unless you visit the store. The looks that can be earned via gameplay are more than decent enough and who cares about looks in all the mayhem anyway?

As long as it's optional I could not possibly give a fuck less what they sell in that store. These games can sell whatever damn cosmetics they want at whatever prices they want and it will not bother me in the least. I would even drift toward encouraging it if I believed it was helping to stabilize jobs and prevent annual layoffs OR even bumping the pay up for the workers. We all know that isn't the case, so I will leave it at "who cares". Diablo 4 (and Blizzard for that matter) has lots of problems, but cosmetics at any price are hardly worth mentioning beyond "Dude, you paid 150 dollars for that dumb shit?"

How far in the gutter does Blizzard intend to go? Seriously, the gold standard of AAA developers has fallen on bad times if they need to scrape the bottom of the barrel like that. I really regret my D4 purchase, I think it's the worst Diablo yet, despite some great art direction (and a return to form in that regard) the game falls flat on its face in every other aspect. What a shame.

I quit just after the expansion came out - mostly because I could not be bothered grinding for "endgame"-level gear again after they moved the bar. I got sick of doing that crap back in my MMORPG days so I'll be damned if I'm going to suffer it again now.
