PLEASE just stop tying in any media with the movie era. Vast majority of people despise the sequels, tv shows are absolute slop(except andor i guess) and alot think that Filloni is a hack. Abandon memberberries and just go x years into the future. DO NOT even mention Skywalkers.

Fucking great, just great. Now we get the EA version of Star Wars once again. Zero Company is because won't have to communicate with the outside world or even need friends to play with the new Ai bots in an always online single player game in a multiplayer universe. A Chrisschross of Dragon Age, Anthem, and the fucking the only game EA hasn't quite fucked up just yet, Mass Effect. Say hello to shitty Dragan age IV graphics, shitty anthem flying, and shitty Mass Effect style combat, all with an extra dose of W0kE ass Disney Magic. Yeah, that's just what we needed.

Bruh, did I hear that there is Disney Predator DLC for AC: Shadows?

It's what "edgy" people call nostalgia. A generic derogatory term to rag on things they don't like that rely heavily on nostalgia. The Deadpool movies get this thrown at them quite a bit on certain boards.

In my opinion, EA has done fairly well with Star Wars. They have made a solid game for almost every genre and platform in what I think has been at least 20 years of working with the license. The Old Republic MMO, Battlefront I and II, Jedi: Fallen Order & Survivor, and Squadrons are on their publishing resume, and I really liked all of them. I still play SWTOR.

Or to put it another way....better EA than Ubisoft.

Yes, this is the first Star Wars game since Squadrons that sounds interesting to me.

So an X-COM style game. Does that mean I can be standing right next to an enemy, have stat buffs, and still miss a shot at point blank range? Because that sure was fun and not frustrating at all.

It's a great series of games and a great world but you have to admit that the RNG gods were brutally cruel in that game, especially on higher difficulty levels.

Theoretically interesting but just looking at the teaser pic, it looks like it will be a huuuuuuge disappointment. What the fuck kinda muppet characters are these? What timeline are these clowns supposed to stem from? And why the focus on a character-/hero-based game anyway? If we get a Star Wars single player TBS, I wanna play shit like the Battle of Hoth with AT-ATs and AT-STs, snow speeders, the whole nine yards. It needs to be set during the original trilogy, of course, or maybe between III and IV during the Order 66 era.

This crap already looks and sounds (the 'Company' in the title is a dead giveaway) like it will be just stupid squads of Star Wars "heroes" duking it out in the lamest possible fashion instead of glorious unit-based epic battles like Battle of Hoth, Battle of Endor and so on.

Meeeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhhhh. Makes me (not so) cautiously pessimistic instead of optimistic for the Saturday reveal. It will be a miracle if this won't suck.

There's a video of an off duty cop trying to stop a bank robber. Robber shoots at the cop six times point blank and misses every shot. Then the cop wrestles the gun away. I saw it a couple decades ago, but no luck on YT just now.

Okay, so it's like "Remember Berries" with a mind of their own, spouting random nostalgic stuff—mainly about Star Wars? That's not confusing at all.

'member berries has become shorthand for low-effort overtures to nostalgia
