I bought the game on the first day the EA was released, thinking I'd have at most 6-9 months before the final version was released. Ok, sure thing...;) Lost track of how many years it's been.

The game is a masterpiece, however. But I'd prefer that from now on Larian puts the first three years of game development under wraps, and waits at least that long to release the EA...! Glad they took their time with this last patch, though, as I might be able to play another round. Maybe...;) But the question is...is it really the Last Patch?

Is this a complaint? No! Just an observation. In Larian's defense, they said up front on day 1 of the EA launch they had no idea how long it would take to finish the game. For years, you had people on the Larian forums playing parts of the first chapter who had concluded that Chapter 1 was the entire game--people who had paid full retail pop but couldn't spare the time to read the README that Larian posted that specifically explained that Chpt 1 was Chpt 1--not the whole game. Some people even reviewed the EA Chpt 1 release as the whole game and gave it a very high rating!...;) Go figure... Reading seems not to be a developed art these days, incredibly.

BG3 is surely a game for the ages.

Yep. Only took them almost two years after three years in Early Access, too. What a time to be alive!

Now that they have fixed all the bugs, I can play BG3.
