The people complaining on the Steam forums (assuming that they reviewed the game after having bought it on Steam) would have had to already paid $30 for a free game (assuming I heard right). To add mtx on top of that before releasing the game is pretty shitty and is the problem I have. It could be the most perfect game ever made but that's still pretty gross to me. Reign in the greed guys. Don't ruin a good thing here.

I gauge games on 1$ per hour. I paid 120$ for the lord of ogham pack and I have over 130 hours into POE2.
My most played game on steam is POE1, POE2 is going to beat that.
That being said, the game is pretty shit right now in a lot of ways but it's still fun and needs more balancing changes.

I have over 200h in POE2 EA, it's pretty good. I can't remember the last time I actually had 200h in any game, and I'm still playing so yeah....I think that speaks volumes. As for the Microtransactions, I don't know and don't care about any of that shit. It doesn't affect me, I think I gave GGG like 20$ years ago, to increase my stash and get some extra "special" tabs, this all carried over into POE2 from POE1.
So...don't play it? Is that not an option for some people?

I can't shit on the game as I haven't played it. By all accounts it's a really good Arpg anyway. What's more I generally don't shit on games too badly; unless it's nothing but a cynical cash crab of the highest order and a scam (The Day Before), I just say my piece and move on. I shit on studios, on publishers who pull disgusting, slimy shit like this. I can differentiate.

I think GGG refusing to enforce their own Account Sharing rules against a certain individual is more important. Even despite watching that person play the game is a trainwreck of hilarity.
Goes for Blizzard too I suppose.
I paid for the $30 EA, I'm not going to complain about other MTX. Anyone that willingly paid for this should shut the F up about "premium" MTX, should have known what you were getting into. They can introduce a $10,000 Sword of a Thousand Truths that breaks the game for all I care.

You ungrateful fuckers. You only paid a $30 entrance fee for Early Access to a FREE game. What's not to like about some glorious MTX on top of the measly entrance fee to a FREE game?!? Suck it up, homies! You will p(l)ay and you will like it. In the meantime, how about you simply STFU?! Thank you!
