Someone might want to start a multi-threaded convo because long threads can affect browser performance due to memory usage. Kicking off a new thread helps free that up. Framing this as some "thank you for your business" in exchange for consuming your information is conspiracy-fueled ignorance. And the point of AI is to use the information you've been giving it, so obviously, it will consume it.
