"Busche's departure from BioWare was not due to Dragon Age: The Veilguard's commercial performance."

Uh, it might not have been because of that in terms of "Bioware is gonna fire me", but if you work at Bioware in a leadership position and you get an opportunity somewhere else....you should be taking it. I think it's pretty obvious the direction Bioware is going. WotC is a clusterfuck of a company too and I can't believe I am essentially saying I would rather work there then Bioware......but that is what I am saying. (as an outsider with little knowledge about working at either place...so grain of salt and all that) WotC is still a workhorse for the parent company Hasbro. Bioware is not nearly as valuable to EA, and it shows.

Is this a good move for WotC? Well, WotC rarely makes good moves and when they do it's entirely by accident.....so I wouldn't bet on it.
