Ditto. I did like Elden Ring though, although I sucked really really badly at it. It's horrible control scheme where you had latency on button presses prevented me from enjoying it for another playthrough, once I started focusing on the latency I simply couldn't find my rhythm, nothing. It's an awful control scheme that's still in the game and is bloodz, awful. M+K also has it (to a lesser extent). Great game, awful control scheme.

Some 'latency' with the controls is intentional in those games, but Elden Ring specifically can cause issues with the way it caps the framerate in exclusive fullscreen mode (it's their first game running DX12). By locking the display output to 60Hz, it may clash with your custom V-sync and/or VRR settings, which could definitely impact latency and be very noticeable if you're accustomed to 120-240Hz. So the solution to that is running it in a borderless window, instead.

fyi, There is a demo available for this game. Lots of people complain about eurojank with soulslikes, but this game plays really smooth.

Games like this and Elden Ring always intrigue me. The graphics and worldbuilding look great, but the gameplay is a turn off. I've played a couple like Dark Souls, and I just don't enjoy it.
Same here. You say souls-like and I run.

Waiting for more reviews to come in. I think it's going to be between this and Atomfall for me.

I was listening to fightincowboy raving about how good the game was (Absolute PEAK), where he was at 60 hours and doing NG+, so I decided to pick it up. The deluxe edition is available to play now, and CDkeys has it for $52, which sounds like a pretty good deal.
