Concluding my Tiny10 adventure from yesterday, it turns out Tiny10 didn't work on my laptop. I don't know the exact reasons, but I suspect the eMMC drive was involved. Since Tiny10 is so stripped down, it probably lacked the necessary drivers to handle that drive type.
I switched to the official Windows 10 64-bit Home ISO, and everything worked fine. Lessons learned:
1. Laptops with an eMMC drive seem limited to official OS releases, not lightweight or modified versions.
2. Windows 10 64-bit Home did not appear to require a product key, which works for my needs. I didn't notice anything being locked or restricted. This might be because I logged in with my existing Microsoft account.
