Activision announces
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4, an upcoming remake of,
well,
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 and
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 in the
same vein as
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2. This is coming to PC, Game
Pass, and consoles on July 11th, but everyone who preorders the Digital Deluxe
Edition or Collector's Edition gets three days of Early Access. There are other
Deluxe Edition bonuses, including the incongruous ability to play as the
Doomslayer as Microsoft starts to have fun with its Activision Blizzard toys.
There are details on
Xbox Wire and the game's blog has a
Bird’s Eye View Preview of the Waterpark Map. To see this in action, check
out the
Reveal Trailer
with a first look and the
Digital Deluxe Edition Trailer showing off its unusual crossover. A "Foundry
Demo" demo is promised with all pre-purchases in a reverse on the age-old "try
before you buy" concept. The PC edition can be prepurchased on
Battle.net, the
Xbox Store, and
Steam. Here's more:
The legend returns on July 11 with the launch of
Tony Hawk’s™ Pro Skater™ 3 + 4! Remade from the ground up and ready to rip this
summer, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 blends the classic content that fans loved
in the 2000s with new offerings, including new skaters, gnarlier tricks, an even
sicker soundtrack, and, for the first time in 10 years – brand-new parks!
In addition to the classic content that made the original games a hit, Tony
Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 features cross-platform online multiplayer for up to
eight skaters.
Developed with attention to detail by Iron Galaxy Studios and in collaboration
with Tony Hawk and Activision, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 picks up seamlessly
right where the critically acclaimed Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 game left
off. The new title will be available for PlayStation® 4, PlayStation® 5, Xbox
One, Xbox Series X/S, PC (through Steam, Battle.net and Microsoft Store), and
Nintendo Switch. The game will also be available at launch for subscribers to
select Game Pass plans (Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass).
