It's not a smell you mistake for anything else.Jivaro wrote on Feb 5, 2025, 04:01:yeah you get an icon on the hud if you reek and people dont like it at all
I just saw a short video of someone trying to sneak up on a guard and before he could get there the guard turned around on him. Not because the guard heard him. Oh no. "What's that disgusting smell?!" the guard yells and then he whirled around on the dude. Because they smelled him coming up from behind. That's some hilarious writing/gameplay stuff if true.

I picked it up. messing about in the beginning. It still has the crappy save system. I know the intent is to force people to commit to the things they do and the resulting consequences but still it is a bit annoying. I may wait for a save mod.
Or you could commit to your choices. ..... it's only a game, what harm is their if things turn out bad for you .... later it could become something interesting.
In saying that, it would be good if the software gave you the choice, so I get what you are saying.
(It's like it is in soft-hardcore mode)

The save whenever mods are already out.

I only played for a small amount of time during my lunch break, but it seems like the combat system has improved. I did run into a weird issue with VSync and the frame limit not working correctly, but after restarting the game a number of times and then launching the game through the AMD Software, it started working correctly. I have no idea what was causing the issue or why it fixed itself.
