I'm a little tired of people not accepting their role and responsibility in perpetuating this behavior. It's weird how corporations stop doing things when it stops making money.
People know corporations are soulless, unethical, amoral entities who can and will exploit them at every opportunity. This has been crystal clear for literal decades.
It's like sticking your hand in a fire and then whining that you were burned. You knew what would happen going in.
Sure, corporations should be held accountable for their actions but there's abundant evidence that they won't ever be in any meaningful way. So the only recourse left is to not engage with them or their products.
If a person chooses to do so, they need to deal with the consequences without whining.
