So Elon Musk, who was not elected, is not in charge of any real government agency, was not vetted or approved by Congress, has not passed a background or security clearance is breaking into government systems, locking out the employees, and stealing the data of US citizens, and no one can stop him?

It’s a oligarchy. Plain and simple. Remove old civil servants and replace with sycophants. You are watching a democratic coup in broad daylight. And no, no one is stopping them.

Democrats are out of power at least in terms of any meaningful majority. Republicans are full on project 2025. this was all forewarned and no matter how much people pointed it out, nobody cared. And conservatives will burn down their own house if it „owned the libs“. So even when they whine about the constitution or freedoms they are lying or are to stupid to realise what’s going on. Wilfully ignorant is the term I think.

He has done all that with his ownership of SpaceX, or did you think NASA was just going to give him millions because he's a tech bro? And even if he hadn't do you think it would take the GOP more than 5 minutes to do all that seeing as they control everything atm? That would just be more theater.
