Steam Replay 2024

Valve announces that 2024 Steam Replays are available for all Steam players to revel in the glory of all their gaming accomplishments for the year on the platform. This launched a couple of years ago as Steam Replay, the name changed last year to Steam Year in review, and it resumes this year with the original name. They include the script for this sitcom, so bring your own laugh-track. Here's word:
You, on Steam, by the numbers
How many games did you play, and how does that compare to last year? Did you unlock a bunch of achievements? What about your longest streak? These fun numbers and more are in your Replay.

There are spiders!
...graphs. Spider GRAPHS, we mean, showing in spider language what kinds of games you played.

...and so much more!
There are so many fun ways to look at your year in Steam gaming: playtime by month; playtime by what you played on; even playtime across your Steam Family if you're part of one!

Not possible. Steam is once again all fucked up due to the Winter Sale .

Haha, yeah that's why I mentioned it in my original post on this topic. Surprised me even.

Highly variable for me. Many games I simply don't care one tiny bit. Others are "interesting" to me.

"Legit" -- well depends on your definition. 1708 of them are from one game, Zup 3. The achievement icons are the alphabet, which will allow you to use the achievement showcase to post a message in your profile in large block letters. I had intended to do that, but haven't gotten around to it. And as mentioned by Orogogus, Halls of Torment has 500, I got a bunch from that too. That leaves 400-500 which are much more "normal".

Dragon's Dogma 2 and Dragon Age: The Veilguard really hog the limelight of my Replay.

I'm really having the feels for starting another Dragon's Dogma 2 run. Was hoping for some proper DLC by now...

Roguebook and No Man's Sky made up most of my "Steam" time. I am really late to the No Man's Sky party, having not started it until earlier this year....but damn is it cool. Roguebook is just super addicting and fun, easy to pick up, play, and stop if you have other things you need to go do.

The rest are going to be my series regulars like an Elder Scrolls game, a Madden game, a couple fighting games like Tekken, etc. In general, I am a simple man of predictable gaming tendencies.

Personally, don't care about achievements, never look at them.

My goal is stress test the games I like, subvert and finish them surmounting difficulties, grinds and bugs.
Explore all, then I feel I know them fully.

Via my own C.E. tables, playing faster is more interesting.

(Change xp, immune to falls, oxygen, higher movement velocities for quicker travel, coord x,y for teleport through doors or bugs, superjump/glide for pesky jumping puzzles or rise to the top to look around -"You're not supposed to be here"-, etc).

Some games lean way into achievements, and I think Vampire Survivors-like games are really prone to this for some reason. I picked up 175 (out of 279) in about 5 days playing Rogue Genesia. Vampire Survivors also has 220 in total, Soulstone Survivors has 366, Halls of Torment has 500. In most of these games a run takes 20-30 minutes, and they usually hand out at least the easier achievements like candy.
