Michael Moore was not impressed that his work got "a killer five-star review from an actual killer."
His response is linked below, but here's the punchline in tldr form
The solution is simple. Throw this entire system in the trash, dismantle this immoral business that profits off the lives of human beings and monetizes our deaths, that murders us or leaves us to die, destroy it all, and instead, in its place, give us all the same health care that every other civilized country on Earth has:

Universal, free, compassionate, and full of life.

Give us Scotland. Give us Uruguay. Give us Taiwan. Give us Canada or give us death!

Some of you seem to be confusing Youtube TV for Youtube Premium. Premium (ad free) is $14 a month. Youtube TV is a live network cable TV replacement.

What did you expect? Engels? Marx?
Did I expect something more from a valedictorian and ivy league grad. Is that trick question.

This looks like the product of a spoiled child who's mad at his dad for taking the last chili relleno at dinner.

He starts by telling the reader that it won't be long, as if it needed explaining. And telling law enforcement how to do their job, which is pure foible. The next time you get pulled over, be sure and mention that there is no need to look in the trunk. Trust me, they're going to look in the trunk.

At least he spared us the insane 35,000-word Ted Kaczynski manifesto, instead we're left with a short note, that amounts to nothing more than a hot take and occasional unintelligible word. Of which the entirety could fit on a business card. Insurance Companies Bad, Been that way a long time, Me not know how to fix. There's a haiku in there just waiting to be discovered.
It's like he never gave it much thought.

And then let us get to the meat of the matter, the humblebrag. This is how I done it... After that he tosses in a couple of wikipedia facts and call's it a day.

Hero, if you ask me he's more like a zero.

I think we all wanted this guy to be a modern day Robin Hood, but you know with more murder/revenge.

But it seems he was just not doing so well. It’s not some father having his kid denied life saving treatment or some guy who can count how long he has left to live on one hand.

Ohh well. A bad person is all he is and ever will be.

Yes I get like 500 or something free channels on Samsung TV, more content than I could ever possibly watch... but pretty much none of them are the channels people are seeking out on YouTube TV, the mainstream big-name channels that in previous eras only came with a premium cable subscription (not the 10 you get with the $20 a month subscription padded out with a bunch of other junk either).

It's not worth it to me... But in this area $80ish is still about right for what YouTube TV offers... comes with cloud DVR too.
My parents pay for Fubu... which might even be more than YouTube TV, and all they wanted was all of the NFL and college games, but otherwise it's pretty much the same as YouTube TV.

I have Prime, Netflix, Disney, Max, and Hulu... and all of them combined still don't cost as much as this new YouTube TV price.
I don't have YouTube TV, but it's a premium streaming product intended to replace cable television, which is not the case with the 5 previous streaming services I just mentioned. YouTube TV comes with sports and local channels too.
You guys always act like people are getting it to watch YouTube videos primarily... that's not really what it's for.

I feel you. Though I use pfblocker-ng on the network level and, so far, <knocks on wood> no problems with playback.

Though I don't have any apps I use on my TV. I run everything through my HTPC and use the TV as a dumb monitor.

I've used this combination, in addition to AdGuard DNS for years. On our TV, we also use SmartTube (I uninstalled the official YouTube app entirely), which incorporates Sponsorblock and ad blocking. Recently, though, Google has been deploying countermeasures against this sort of setup. The SmartTube devs have been quick to fix it when Google does something that breaks videos playing on third party apps, but a few days ago, despite having fixed a playback issue, now I can no longer watch age restricted videos on my TV while I'm also using AdGuard at my router's DNS settings. I never had to disable that before. I filed a bug with the SmartTube devs, and I'm not the only one having this exact issue, so hopefully it gets fixed soon.

I will NEVER pay for YouTube though. I have other sources of entertainment if it comes down to it.

If this one is the real, how does this prove your point ?

No doubt, Luigi is a murderer.

But if a such a murderer only offs a child raper, a swindler that leaves old people homeless, a torturer -and I'll include not paying pain drugs in chemo therapies-, or a traitor to their people and their country as some politicians, never mind a wholesale legal murderer of thousands for money, I'll vote for a not guilty verdict in any trial.

Who knows, enough mistrials could produce a nice plea deal ...

YouTube TV launched for $35 per month in 2017. It rose to $40 in 2018, $50 in 2019, $65 in 2020, and then $73 in March 2023. Google did decrease the cost of upgrading from HD to 4K to $10 per month with its last price hike.

All that cord cutting isn't saving so much money any more I guess. Hell, and you are still missing out on exclusive content on Apple, Disney, Netflix, and others. Remind me again what was so bad about the previous system?

$83US per month? What fucking stoners are paying that for YT? The overwhelming majority of it is just outright garbage. Basic cable TV packages here start at $18US. $56US here gets you an everything package for channels.
