Obviously not every Russian loves Putin but he does have a majority that at least don't mind him being dictator. Same with China. And those countries are the two biggest problems on Earth right now. And what makes it worse is because it's all entirely needless. It's just unmitigated greed for power and money. There's nothing wrong with wishing them ill will and hope they fail hard. Otherwise we're going to end up in a war with them somewhere down the road and that's sooner than later.
