It says creators, not players. But either-or, if a company knows you've done some odious shit outside the game and don't want to be associated with you, ban away. That's the best policy. They're under no obligation to provide their service to you.

I'm definitely with you here. I'm fully against toxic behavior and yes, people should feel the consequences of their behavior but extending punishments for behavior outside of the game is a slippery slope.

Never in the history of humans has there been a time that an authority figure told 18-24 year olds not to do something because "consequences" and they didn't take it as a personal challenge. I respect the intent here, but it's either going to be impossible to enforce or it's going to be a slippery slope that takes them to places they didn't plan on going. Riot needs to worry about its services and not policing speech.
