You're right that the article is light on facts -- there isn't a single date in the article. But what I got from it was there as never any product at all and she was just bullshitting everyone from the start. A more interesting question to me would be what her plan was to prevent the charade from collapsing in on her. I mean it basically is seems like she decided to have as much fun as she could before getting caught and going to jail. *shrug*

This article really doesn't explain much of what happened, at least not in any way that makes sense to anyone who ISN'T a fucking investor in the first place. Sure, it says investors were defrauded, and then vaguely says "yeah, uh, she pretended to be an accountant but by then the jig was up". OK but what jig? what did the other accountant send that was so damning?
