Ai, doesn't understand shit about shit, sure, maybe it can manipulate a person with its algorithms, but truly understand? NO! NEGITIVE! Also, most people I know are mentally defective in one way or another, there is no understanding crazy. Look at Tom Petty, dudes out of his mind crazy, but the right kind of crazy, the same goes for Robbin Williams, that lead singer for Linkon park, Sex Pistols, Insx, or Clint Emmerson and Nick Rowe. They all fall so far outside of that fucking bell curve; they are all the right kind of crazy... Ai will never understand that shit. Ai only focusses on the filter, and that filter is the bell curve.

There are also forms of creativity that emerge from systematically exploring vast permutations of ideas. AI systems can generate music, pictures and text by combining patterns in ways humans might not anticipate. While this may be a product of cold algorithms without "true" understanding, the end result can still be novel and valuable.

Many artists are using this creativity as inspiration for their own work, and is in my opinion one of the strengths of AI in its current form.

The articles we see glorifying AI as "better, smarter than human" are total BS...;) This is fiction for the unwashed masses. AI (and there is no one, single AI to rule them all) is just computer programming. AI is no more sentient than the light switch on your bathroom wall..;) It can only "do" exactly what it is programmed to do, and nothing more, bugs and all. For every human job that AI supposedly replaces, it will require at least two human AI overseers and editors to make sure it does what it is programmed to do...;) When the bubble implodes as it is sure to do, it won't be pretty.
It is well known that I cannot err--and so, if you should happen across an error in anything I have written you can be absolutely sure that *I* did not write it!...;)
