Ys X: Nordics is out for PC, PlayStation, and Switch, and the Windows launch edition of this action/RPG is now available on the Epic Games Store, GOG.com,* and Steam with exclusive launch bonuses for the next two weeks. The Launch Trailer is crammed with expositional wisecracks and a look at the game in action. It also provides a clarification on the title, saying it's more-or-less pronounced "Ease 10." Following their tenuous encounter at sea, the young red-haired adventurer Adol Christin and the proud pirate Karja Balta find themselves bound by fate – and the mysterious power of Mana! Never played any games in this series and at this point I'm wondering whether it's too late to get into.

I read that they're all connected so it's not like Final Fantasy where you can get into any game at any point because there is no chronological order. Eh...
