I’ve been intermittent fasting for over a year now. I started it mostly to lose/maintain weight as my metabolism has been slowly grinding to a halt. Basically removed breakfast and eat between noon and 7pm. Hard to start but not difficult to keep up with like counting calories. The tough part is I LOVE breakfast so cutting that out truly sucks, and the holidays are hard to stay somewhat in line and I’ll sometimes cheat but I can tell a difference the next day. My stomach gets pretty angry with me. Nice to hear there are other benefits as my mom’s side of the family struggles with high blood pressure.
To contribute to the music discussion: grew up an MTV kid, listened to hip-hop and some metal in the early 90’s, switched to alternative late 90’s and through college even DJing at an Alternative radio station for a short stint in ‘98. I don’t listen to much new stuff probably since 2015 as it all sounds like crap now.
All-time favorite band: Toad the Wet Sprocket hands down, they’re still making music and touring, releasing remasters on vinyl. Even my oldest son still in High School went with us to see them live. Probably the youngest person there.
Old man alert, bucket list is to see Billy Joel in concert and he’s coming to Texas at the end of this month. Tickets already bought.
