Microsoft Flight Simulator Website has details on how to participate in the
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Technical Alpha this month. Neither
ownership of Microsoft Flight Simulator nor pre-ordering Microsoft Flight
Simulator 2024 is required, but not everyone who applies will be accepted. Word
is testers won't be required to offer feedback, as simply participating will
help track the health of the game's new online services. If you're interested,
you should

In October we’re hosting a technical alpha to gather feedback on some of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024’s new services. Please note the focus of this technical alpha is validating new services in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, and the scope of available content will be limited. Because the focus of this technical alpha is services, it will also be limited to the Windows PC (Windows Store) platform.
Please review the PC System Requirements before signing-up to participate. As part of the sign-up process, you will be asked to provide your PC specs (DxDiag). If your PC does not meet the minimum requirements, you may not be selected to participate.

Huh, weird. Their webpage has a Piper Super Cub on it and I was just checking those out earlier today on something completely unrelated. Cool little planes, but expensive at 200K a pop. Anyway, Ima sign up for this. I was impressed with it when I tried it on XGP.
