Blizz should have gotten on board and created a new boss for the event - a giant orange troll who has been disrupting peace in the kingdom, blaming all their problems on those caravans of Blood Elves who are seeking refuge. His main boss attack is spewing foul toxic excrement every 3 seconds, which means the healers will need to be on point with their flash heals and hots.
