Yeah the 2000s are long gone. Drivers are pretty much a non-issue.
I swapped out my 3060 Ti for a Amd 6800XT and there is basically no difference.

Zero fucks given about AMD graphics cards (nVidia 4ever!) but we need some competition... like maybe 20% - 25% market share for AMD... that is enough. Don't want their fanboys to get too annoying and obnoxious.

I'll just chime in here to say that having owned (very) modern cards from both AMD and Nvidia, I can't tell a difference in driver quality. Some features (RTX, etc.) yes, but I did not have a particular problem with any game crashing, or system hangs/conflicts, etc. The driver quality argument is over, IME.

I won't buy Nvidia because of their shit drivers. AMD on my platform of choice is solid, reliable, and doesn't require anything on my part to get them working.
