I have something I call "Mechwarrior envy". I want so bad to like these games and be good at them. The concept of walking around in the mech is just awesome. The graphics are always pretty "latest greatest" with each release. I enjoy and do very well in flight and car simulators. It sounds like something I should be good at.

In reality however, I suck at these games so badly that a Hoover would be jealous. I love watching gameplay videos and other friends play, but so far, the franchise and I have yet to bond in a player/game type of way. I have never finished a campaign before rage quitting forever due to my own ineptitude. Apparently, I need more Shogo and less Mechwarrior in my mech games or it's just too complicated for my aging brain. I don't know what my excuse was before, but I am old now so thats my excuse now.
