I finished the DLC tonight. 100% completion. It was extremely meh. More meh than the main game because the main game had its moments but the DLC did not. It is also unforgivable that Bethesda did not address a single common complaint from the original game. Shattered Space suffers from the exact same weaknesses, quirks, bugs, design issues, you name it.

If anyone gets this for "free" with the Premium Edition like me then play it and see for yourself. Otherwise I would strongly advise against spending any money on this mediocrity.

Thanks, reinforces my decision to skip for now after watching some videos and talking to friends. I didn't undersand they wanted 30 more bucks for this when I initially reacted to it. For 30 bucks this needs to be the expansion that makes the game good or MUCH BETTER, like a Diablo 3 or XCOM2 type of deal. Staying with Bethesda itself, maybe something like Shivering Isles for Oblivion. Now that they are saying that to complete the story you will have to play a yet to be released DLC that also needs to be paid for.....definitly a no from me anytime soon.

I got it loaded up and played a couple hours yesterday. It’s fine so far. It’s not something ground breaking yet. But I have only scratched the surface so far.

The only goofy thing is how everyone is surprised in the game that you can grav. Drive jump a space station. Maybe I know my hard sci-fi too well or something but that came to no surprise out of me during the opening quests.

The only people who don't realize Morrowind is the best in the series either have never played it or they played a thousand hours of Skyrim first and aren't able to play games without non-stop handholding.

That being said... Morrowind is also one of the very few games that absolutely could use a remaster of some sort, as long as it stays properly faithful and they don't TOUCH any of the game content. That UI is... horrible... and I mean it on a Bethesda scale of UI's, which is saying a lot.

This pretty much 100%. Morrowind is the absolute best of the best of Bethesda games.

Yeah, shatters space has been out for 36 hours now, and hasn’t won 100,000,000 fans over, obviously it’s an epic failure.

Ridiculous take, do some research, it's by Bethesda not Epic, smh my head

So Starfield now has a martial arts competition between three contestants, dressed in white, red and blue, set across various locales where inbetween bouts they deflect balls with a garbage can lid?

Bethesda had plenty of cool ideas and mechanics throughout the elder scrolls series...it's probably partially nostalgia, but I really loved Arena back in the day, with its bonkers items and spells, coupled with terrain destruction? Walls at least.

Too bad they either forget or ignore past cool things and have been becoming more and more shittified over time.

Fucking cliff racers, though. Jesus.

You know TES needs to bring back? The Player Spell Book. Let me create armageddon nuke spells again, damn it!
