Team17 and FusionPlay announce a partnership with the entertainers at
Viva La Dirt
League to create a game based on its popular web-series, which has
featured frequently in our coverage. The Epic NPC Man series is a parody of
generic role-playing games, so it should be easy for this to seem authentic,
though of course the thing that brings the Viva to the old Dirt League is
comedy, so we should expect a healthy dose of humor. The announcement is not
detailed, but it includes some quotes:

Oh yeah, I'll definitely be checking this out. Even if the game itself doesn't turn out to be all that great, it'll be worth it just for the novelty.

I love this channel so as long as the humor remains the same I think that this could be a hoot.

Wonder if it'll be pure comedy or not. The only comedies I've played are Kingdom of Loathing (very old) and On the Raid-Slick Precipice of Darkness (old). Both were surprisingly entertaining. KoL had quite a lot of replay value, though of course the comedy isn't what carries it through multiple runs. It was kinda competitive, actually, figuring out the fastest paths to complete a run.
Well deserved and earned. Let's hope the end game turns out to match the comedy & creativity that this team has shown in their skits.

Definitly a buy. These dudes are hilarious, even if some of the jokes get redone a few too many times occassionally.
